Il gruppo folkloristico “La Clicca de Saint-Martin-de-Corléans di Aosta“, il cui nome deriva da “cricca” (ovvero gruppo di amici), nasce nel 1958 come corale ufficiale del quartiere di Saint-Martin-de-Corléans della città di Aosta. L’obiettivo è di contribuire alla salvaguardia e alla diffusione del ricco patrimonio canoro della Valle d’Aosta. Negli anni ’80 il gruppo inizia ad abbandonare la coralità a favore delle danze e musiche della tradizione.
Nel 1989 viene creata la sezione “bambini”, composta da ragazzi di età compresa tra i tre e i quattordici anni, con cui la Clicca partecipa annualmente ad eventi e manifestazioni a livello regionale, nazionale e internazionale.
Nota di vanto della Clicca sono i due strumenti musicali a percussione in legno nati nel gruppo: il “Fleyé“ e “Lo xilophone de la grandze“. Entrambi hanno valso alla Clicca numerosi riconoscimenti.
La Clicca è infine membro fondatore della F.A.F.it – Federazione Associazioni Folkloriche Italiane ed è affiliata all’U.F.I – Unione Folclorica Italiana e alla federazione Nos Racines che raggruppa i gruppi folkloristici valdostani.
HISTOIRE DU GROUPE
Le groupe folklorique La Clicca est né en 1958 dans le quartier de Saint-Martin de Corléans d’Aoste pour sauvegarder le patrimoine choral (jusqu’en 1980) et musical valdôtain. Le costume reprend les vêtements portés par la classe moyenne de la ville d’Aoste entre la fin du 18ème et le début du 19ème siècle et se caractérise par des finitions élégantes et raffinées.
La fierté du groupe est le « Fleyé » ou « Fléau », un instrument à percussion en bois créé par le groupe La Clicca en 1962 pour accompagner le son mélodique des accordéons. Il reprend l’outil agricole utilisé dans les fermes valdôtaines pour battre le blé, tout comme l’autre instrument de musique, le « Xylophone de la grandze » , fruit de recherches ethnologiques précises.
Le groupe propose également des représentations scéniques dédiées à la vie paysanne , en vêtements de travail, et participe chaque année à des rencontres et festivals internationaux, souvent avec la section enfants née en 1989. Enfin, il réalise des projets inédits de mise en valeur du monde folklorique destinés au public et aux institutions scolaires locales.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE GROUP
The folk group La Clicca originally came into being in 1958 in the district of Saint-Martin-de-Corléans in Aosta, Italy. Its aim is to safeguard and promote the choral heritage of the region of Aosta Valley as well as its traditional music repertoire. The costume worn by its members echoes the clothes donned by the middle class of the city of Aosta between the late 18th and early 19th centuries and is renowned for its elegant and refined embroidery. The “Fleyé” or “Fléau,” has become the group’s pride and joy since it originated within la Clicca in 1962. It is a wooden percussion instrument played to accompany the melodic sounds of the accordion. It resembles the agricultural tool used in the local farms to flog the grain. An additional musical instrument designed by the group is the”Xilophone de la grandze,” the result of timely research on local cultural traditions. The group also offers stage performances dedicated to country life, work clothing and also participates annually to international reviews and festivals, jointly with the children ‘s section of the band formed in 1989. Last but not least, it carries out new projects of folkloric revival for the pleasure of local people and tourists alike and implements cultural and musical awareness in the schools throughout the region.
